Yunnan's new energy installed capacity exceeds 60 million kilowatts.
Journalists learned from Yunnan Power Grid Company, a subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid, that the installed capacity of new energy in Yunnan Province has recently reached 60,177,000 kilowatts, accounting for 38% of the total installed capacity in the province. This year, the peak daily power generation of new energy in the province has exceeded 400 million kilowatt-hours, setting a new historical record. As an important energy base for the "west-to-east power transmission" project, Yunnan relies on its abundant green energy resources to continue to work towards the goal of adding 50 million kilowatts of new energy installed capacity during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, injecting momentum into ensuring power supply and promoting green development.
