Significant breakthroughs have been made in key technological advancements in our country's industrial control field.

The "Autonomous and Controllable Intelligent Power Generation Control System" project, led by the State Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., jointly completed by China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Huadian Group Co., Ltd., North China Electric Power University, and other units, passed the evaluation organized by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and the Chinese Association for Automation on the 8th. This marks a significant breakthrough in the core technology research of industrial control in China. After more than ten years of joint research and independent development, the project team has created the autonomous and controllable intelligent power generation control system and the intelligent power generation control system safety defense system. They have overcome key technologies such as intelligent power generation control algorithms and optimization decision-making. Currently, the project results have been successfully put into operation on more than 300 units, covering different scenarios such as thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power, and new energy sources, and have achieved significant economic, social, and environmental benefits.
