On May 10, Wu Xiaqiu, Dean of the National Institute of Finance at Renmin University of China and Dean of the China Capital Market Research Institute, stated at the seminar on the reform and development of China's capital market and the theoretical logic of the Chinese capital market that the capital market is the hub of modern finance and will gradually occupy a strategic position in economic development and financial reform. There are three key pillars to the development of the capital market, namely enhancing the competitiveness of listed companies, providing sufficient liquidity, and promoting capital market reform.
