Hefei multiple departments jointly interviewed self-media in the real estate field, rectifying false statements such as "the money to buy a house this year can buy two next year".
On April 30th, the departments of Internet Information Office, Public Security Bureau, Urban and Rural Construction Bureau, Market Supervision Administration, Housing Security and Real Estate Management Bureau in Hefei conducted a joint talk with some self-media account operators in the real estate field. During the talk, it was pointed out that Hefei actively implemented various policies to stabilize growth and promote development, and the overall real estate market in the city maintained a steady and positive trend. From January to March, the city's commercial housing sales increased by 32% year-on-year, with second-hand housing transactions totaling 2 million square meters, around 20,000 units and an increase of 3% compared to the previous year. In February and March, the price index of new commercial residential buildings increased for two consecutive months. Some self-media accounts have published a large amount of misinformation, including false information about real estate policies and unfounded statements such as "the money for buying a house this year can buy two houses next year," "list of neighborhoods with the biggest price drops," and other sensationalist headlines. The online behaviors of these self-media accounts involved in spreading misinformation are biased, detached from reality, fear-mongering, and have prominent issues of malicious hype, creating hostility, and inciting conflicts, which harm the stable and healthy development of the real estate industry.
