Wang Zhenjiang explained that during the drafting process of the Private Economy Promotion Law, the working team consistently adhered to open legislation and solicited diverse opinions. After repeated discussions, the focus was ultimately on fair competition, investment and financing, promotion of technological innovation, regulation of business services and protection of rights and interests. These were also widely recognized as the prominent issues faced in the development of private economy.
