On May 8th, Deputy Minister of Justice Wang Zhenjiang stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that promoting the development of private economy involves a wide range of issues. It is necessary to determine which issues need to be resolved in the current legislation, which measures need to be written into laws, and which need to be specified in the next supporting regulations. It is important to listen to opinions from various parties and gather wisdom from all aspects. Wang Zhenjiang explained that during the drafting process of the Private Economy Promotion Law, the working team consistently adhered to open legislation and solicited diverse opinions. After repeated discussions, the focus was ultimately on fair competition, investment and financing, promotion of technological innovation, regulation of business services and protection of rights and interests. These were also widely recognized as the prominent issues faced in the development of private economy.
