Sichuan Province introduces "accompany-free care services" to alleviate the "difficulty in care" for hospitalized patients.

Journalist learned from the Sichuan Provincial Medical Security Bureau on the 7th that the bureau has added a new price item for "companion-free care services", further improving the quality of care for hospitalized patients and filling the gaps in hospital care services. It is understood that "companion-free care services" refers to patients receiving all daily care services from nurses or caregivers of medical institutions in the absence of family members and caregivers. Sichuan's "companion-free care services" will be rolled out statewide starting May 20th this year.
