Uber to acquire 85% stake in Turkish food delivery platform for $700 million.

On May 6th, Uber announced in a securities filing that it will acquire 85% of the shares of the Turkish food delivery platform Trendyol GO for approximately $700 million in cash. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the second half of this year.
