On May 6, it was learned from the Hong Kong-listed company Tea Baodao that during this year's May Day holiday, the consumption of new tea drinks saw strong growth driven by the "holiday economy". Data shows that during the May Day holiday, Tea Baodao's products such as "Eastern Plant Fresh Fruit Tea" and the "Shan Cha Bi Luochun Series" were selling hot, with a 50% increase in overall sales compared to the previous period. Sales at many stores nationwide increased by over 170%, and some scenic area stores saw a sales increase of up to 3000%. In addition, during the May Day holiday, spending by foreign tourists at Tea Baodao stores nationwide increased by over 60% compared to before the holiday.
