China Merchants Securities announced on the evening of May 6 that Wu Zongmin retired due to reaching the retirement age and applied to resign from the positions of company president, director, member of the Board Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee, member of the Board Risk Management Committee, and authorized representative under the Securities Listing Rules of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Rule 3.05. Wu Zongmin has completed the handover of work according to the company's relevant regulations, and his departure will not result in the number of board members falling below the statutory requirement. The company will promptly complete the selection and appointment of new directors, president, and authorized representatives in accordance with relevant regulations. During the vacancy of the president, the duties of the president will be temporarily performed by the company's chairman, Huo Da.
