The Shanghai Composite Index returned to the 3300 point mark, with the ChiNext Index rising 2% in the first half of the day. In terms of sectors, the controllable nuclear fusion sector surged, with shares of Zhongzhou Special Material and Jiusheng Electric both hitting the 20% limit up; the rare earth sector strengthened, with shares of Huayang New Materials, Jingyuntong, and Shenghe Resources all hitting limit up; gold stocks were active, with Sichuan Gold leading the gains; most banking stocks saw adjustments, with Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank leading the declines; the tourism and hotel sector experienced weak fluctuations, with Huangshan Tourism and Santai Ropeway leading the declines. Overall, more stocks rose than fell, with over 4800 stocks rising. By midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index was at 3309.95 points, up 0.94%; the Shenzhen Component Index was at 10064.21 points, up 1.66%; and the ChiNext Index was at 1987.04 points, up 2.00%. On the market, the controllable nuclear fusion, metal new materials, and rare earth permanent magnet sectors led the gains, while the banking, tourism, and hotel sectors led the declines.
