Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: In the first quarter, China's above-scale Internet enterprises saw a year-on-year growth of 1.4% in Internet business revenue.

According to the Securities Times APP, on May 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau reported that in the first quarter, China's Internet and related service enterprises with a scale above a certain threshold achieved Internet business revenue of 411.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%; they collectively invested 20.45 billion yuan in research and development, an increase of 4.6% year-on-year, with the growth rate increasing by 1.8 percentage points compared to January and February. In the first quarter, the eastern region achieved Internet business revenue of 367.6 billion yuan, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year, which was 1.5 percentage points higher than the national average, accounting for 89.3% of the country's Internet business revenue.
