They transported 2.173 million passengers, an increase of 16.1% year-on-year, reaching a historical high for the same period. China Eastern Airlines operated 13,065 domestic flights, carrying 1.835 million passengers, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year. They also operated 2,090 international and regional flights, carrying 338,000 passengers, an increase of 24.9% year-on-year. In addition, China Eastern operated 182 flights with the domestically-produced large aircraft C919, transporting 26,470 passengers.
