Starting today, the Beijing Stock Exchange will use new security codes for trial stocks.

The overall preparation for the pilot switch of the codes of existing listed companies on the Beijing Stock Exchange is ready, and the official launch is scheduled for May 6. Starting from May 6, the Beijing Stock Exchange will use new security codes for the pilot stocks. After this pilot switch is completed, the other 242 existing listed company stocks will continue to use their current security codes. The Beijing Stock Exchange will unify the security codes for the other 242 existing listed company stocks once the pilot switch is running smoothly and the overall switch foundation is in place.
