Huawei discloses that the Kirin 9050 series has been successfully mass-produced.

On October 13, at the 2026 Huawei Terminal Innovation Technology Communication Meeting, Huawei provided a detailed introduction to the Kirin 9050 series chips that were recently launched with the Huawei tri-fold phone Mate XT 2 and the bar-type flagship Mate90 Pro Max. According to Xu Songyu, Director of the Wireless Terminal Chip Product Management Department of Huawei's semiconductor business, since 2023, cumulative shipments of terminal products based on Kirin chips have exceeded 100 million units. With the support of China's electronics industry, the Kirin 9050 series has successfully entered mass production. The launch of the Kirin 9050 series is an important step in the continuous evolution toward the future after Kirin's return, opening a new 10-year journey for Kirin chips.
