Shenzhen-Hong Kong "all-weather channel" upgraded; new Huanggang Port to open tomorrow

Shenzhen's Huanggang Port is the only large land port between Shenzhen and Hong Kong that operates 24-hour customs clearance, and this unique status has made it an "all-weather channel" connecting the two places. As demand for customs clearance between Shenzhen and Hong Kong has increased, the reconstruction of Huanggang Port was launched in 2019. After consultation between the Guangdong and Hong Kong governments, the new Huanggang Port will officially open and begin operation at 6:30 a.m. on October 12, providing 24-hour customs clearance services for passengers and passenger vehicles.
