The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on October 10 that, according to the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Commission: Recently, with the approval of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Commission filed a case for review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Wu Tian, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Anhui Guoyuan Financial Holding Group Co., Ltd. Upon investigation, Wu Tian lost his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original aspiration and mission, and resisted organizational review; ignored the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation and illegally accepted gifts, cash gifts, and consumption cards; violated organizational principles, failed to truthfully explain issues during organizational talks, and illegally sought personnel benefits for others; failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity and illegally held shares in non-listed companies; and used his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting, investment and shareholding, and other aspects, and illegally accepted huge amounts of property. Wu Tian seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and life discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and was suspected of the crime of bribery, and after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he did not restrain himself or stop, and the nature was serious and the impact was bad, and he should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China, the Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Discipline for Public Officials, and after study by the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to give Wu Tian the punishment of expulsion from the Party; cancel the treatment he enjoyed according to regulations; confiscate his illegal gains from disciplinary violations; transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organ for review and prosecution in accordance with law, and transfer the property involved as well.
