Guangdong intercity railway adds trains on multiple lines; Panyu intercity station opens earlier.

In response to the return-travel passenger peak during the National Day holiday and to better meet passengers' travel needs, Guangdong Intercity will increase transport capacity during the return period and add peak-line trains. On October 6, three additional EMU sets will be put into operation daily, with the Guangzhou-Huizhou and Guangzhou-Zhaoqing intercity railways adding 10 and 8 train services per day respectively; from 12:00 on October 7, six additional EMU sets will be put into operation, with the Guangzhou-Huizhou, Guangzhou-Zhaoqing, and Guangzhou-Qingyuan intercity railways adding 16, 13, and 6 train services respectively. During the return peak on October 7, the Guangzhou-Huizhou intercity railway will add "Panyu Station to Dongguan West Station" peak-line trains, with a total of 10 train services. From October 7 to 8, the opening time of Intercity Panyu Station will be advanced to 5:30, and train C4731 on the Guangzhou-Huizhou intercity railway toward Huizhou North will be adjusted to depart from Intercity Panyu Station at 6:00.
