A Chinese company participates in the construction of Montenegro's Budva bypass road project, which has commenced.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Budva bypass road project in Montenegro, jointly undertaken by a Chinese enterprise, was held on the 5th in the coastal city of Budva, Montenegro. Montenegrin Prime Minister Spaji and Chinese Ambassador to Montenegro Chen Xufeng attended the ceremony. According to the contract, the project will be implemented by an international consortium composed of five companies from Montenegro, China, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Chinese enterprise Shandong Hi-Speed Group as one of the consortium members. The project includes roads, bridges, tunnels, and other works, with a contract value of approximately 237 million euros and an expected construction period of four years.
