According to The New York Times, SB Energy, the data center construction and operation company under SoftBank, had originally planned to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) this month. The company intends to build the world's largest data center project in Ohio. However, according to four people familiar with the marketing of the deal, the offering has been postponed because investors have questioned the $50 billion or higher valuation sought by SB Energy. So far, investment banks have struggled to find enough buyers for SB Energy shares within the price range expected by the company and its bankers.
