Fujian: Cultivating four major tracks: integrated circuits, compound semiconductors, new displays, and optoelectronic components.

Recently, the Fujian Provincial Government issued the "Fujian Province '14th Five-Year' Development Plan for Emerging Industries and Future Industries," clearly promoting the development of nine major future industries. Among them, in response to the significant demand from industries such as artificial intelligence, we will fully leverage our province's advantages in semiconductor manufacturing and core component source innovation to cultivate four key tracks: integrated circuits, compound semiconductors, new display technology, and optoelectronic components. Integrated circuits will focus on the future demand for high-performance, low-power chips, enhancing levels in chip design, specialized process chip manufacturing, packaging testing, and component support; compound semiconductors will promote the development of wide-bandgap and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductors, accelerating the construction of a complete industry ecosystem; new display technology will focus on innovation in future display technologies, leading the high-end display market; optoelectronic components will center on tackling core materials and key devices to create a source of innovation for optoelectronic materials and devices.
