The reporter learned from the Hainan Province Dongfang City Meteorological Station that at 11:29 a.m. on August 8, the orange rainstorm warning signal in Dongfang City was upgraded to a red rainstorm warning signal: affected by convective cloud groups, the rainfall in Sanjia Town over the past 12 hours has reached 186 millimeters. It is expected that in the next 6 hours, various towns in Dongfang City will still experience 30 to 60 millimeters of precipitation. Relevant units and personnel are advised to take precautionary measures.
