On the news front, on August 7, SpaceX and Tesla jointly announced the launch of the Terafab project, with an initial investment of $16.8 billion, aimed at bridging the gap between global chip supply and the over 1 terawatt of computing power anticipated to be required by the two companies in the coming years.
