European natural gas futures fell by about 7% this week.
On Friday, at the close of European market trading, ICE UK natural gas futures fell by 0.9%, closing at 135.680 pence per therm, marking a cumulative decline of 5.96% for the week. TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures dropped by 5.03%, settling at 55.380 euros per megawatt hour, with a total weekly decline of 6.88%, showing an overall M-shaped trend, predominantly in a downward state. ICE EU carbon emission allowances increased by 1.82%, reaching 82.85 euros per ton, with a cumulative increase of 2.60% for the week.
