Ministry of Commerce: Strengthen export controls on dual-use items related to drones to the United States.

On August 5, the Ministry of Commerce announced that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Export Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Export Control of Dual-Use Items of the People's Republic of China, and in order to safeguard national security and interests, and fulfill international non-proliferation obligations, it has decided to strengthen export control of dual-use items related to drones to the United States. For drones and their key components and related technologies that are included in the Export Control List of Dual-Use Items of the People's Republic of China, each export case to the United States will undergo strict review and will not be subject to convenient licensing measures. This announcement takes effect from the date of its publication.
