The French government is seeking massive investments from Saudi Arabia to build a Dragon Ball theme park in Paris.
French President Emmanuel Macron's presidential office is seeking investment from Saudi capital, planning to transform France's largest former abandoned theme park into a Japanese manga IP-themed amusement park. Six diplomats, French government officials, and industry insiders, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that the lyse Palace has been negotiating with potential Saudi investors for several months to revive the Mirapolis Park. The park permanently closed in 1991 due to a funding chain break, and the site has been left abandoned ever since. The central entity in these negotiations is the Saudi subsidiary Kodia Investment Company, which is part of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and has recently established an office in Paris. The final investment amount for the project has yet to be determined, but several participants in the discussions have disclosed that the total transaction value is expected to exceed 1 billion euros.
