On July 28, the summer travel season reached its midpoint, and the Chifeng Station, located in the southeastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, continued to maintain a high volume of passenger flow. With the successive opening of the Jingha High-speed Railway and the Kachih High-speed Railway, Chifeng City has become a popular destination for travelers this summer, relying on an increasingly dense high-speed rail network. Before the summer travel peak, Chifeng Station had an average daily passenger dispatch of 6,000; as the peak season arrived, the average daily passenger dispatch surged to 13,000.
