On August 1, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange held a video conference on the exchange of foreign exchange management work for the second half of 2026. The conference emphasized that foreign exchange management departments should adhere to service-oriented thinking, open-mindedness, and security consciousness, promote in-depth reform and high-level opening up in the foreign exchange sector, effectively safeguard the foreign exchange demand of various entities, enhance governance capabilities and standards in the foreign exchange field, and focus on building a foreign exchange management system that is "more convenient, more open, more secure, and smarter," providing strong support for promoting high-quality economic development and striving for a good start in the 14th Five-Year Plan.
