The sale of "priority access" by "Real Social" has sparked controversy.
The platform "Truth Social," under the Trump Media & Technology Group, has recently decided to sell application programming interfaces to Wall Street financial institutions, allowing these institutions to access posts from President Trump and others on the platform ahead of the public. The monthly subscription fee for this product is set at $100,000. Mainstream media in the U.S. and Europe have expressed that this amounts to a premature leak of information to high-frequency trading and algorithmic trading firms, which could foster insider trading. It is understood that companies purchasing this service will be able to directly access "Truth Social" data sources and utilize artificial intelligence technology to interpret information, thereby gaining insights into market changes ahead of time. Trump has over ten million followers on "Truth Social," and his posts often involve U.S. government policies. He sometimes posts more than 100 times a day on the platform, with information regarding the Middle East conflict, tariffs, and the Federal Reserve frequently triggering severe fluctuations in financial markets.
