Turkey and Iraq sign an oil transport agreement to deliver 750,000 barrels daily.
On August 1, local time, the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources announced that the Turkish National Petroleum Pipeline Company has officially signed a one-year crude oil transportation agreement with two Iraqi oil companies. According to the agreement, both Turkey and Iraq will efficiently utilize the oil pipeline, with a daily transportation capacity of 750,000 barrels allocated to the Iraqi side. The Turkish side stated that the total designed daily production capacity of the oil pipeline reaches 1.5 million barrels. Previously, Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Zaydi stated during his visit to Turkey that Iraq would supply Turkey with 1 million barrels of oil daily.
