Gansu: The regional GDP increased by 4.9% year-on-year in the first half of the year.

The Gansu Provincial Bureau of Statistics released the economic data for the first half of 2026. According to the unified calculation of regional gross domestic product, in the first half of the year, the total GDP of Gansu province was 6959.1 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, with a year-on-year growth of 4.9%. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 450.2 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9% year-on-year; the value added of the secondary industry was 2500.9 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 4008.0 billion yuan, an increase of 4.6%.
