According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of 2026, Anhui Province produced 1.6867 million vehicles, ranking first among all provinces in the country. This is also the second time Anhui has successfully defended its title as the top producer of automobiles in the country, following its achievements in the first half of 2025 and the full year of 2025. In terms of total production, Anhui's 1.6867 million vehicles maintained its absolute advantage in first place, with Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu following in second to fourth places respectively. In the field of new energy vehicles, Anhui also performed well, producing 881,800 vehicles in the first half of the year, continuing to lead the country. Zhejiang, with a slight disadvantage of 855,700 vehicles, came in second place, followed closely by Shanghai and Jiangsu.
