Chongqing motorcycle production has increased by nearly 50%.

The motorcycle industry in Chongqing has remained hot this year due to the popularity of Zhang Xue motorcycles, with production increasing rapidly in the first half of the year. On July 21, the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics announced that the city's total GDP for the first half of the year was 16,702.17 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year at constant prices. The data shows that new products and new driving forces are being cultivated at a faster pace, with emerging products continuing to gain momentum. In the first half of the year, emerging products such as new energy vehicles, LCD displays, integrated circuit wafers, lithium-ion batteries, and industrial robots maintained good growth, with production increasing by 3.8%, 9.7%, 20.4%, 63.2%, and 17.8% respectively. In particular, motorcycle production showed rapid growth. In the first quarter of this year, Chongqing produced 2.6808 million motorcycles, an increase of 44.1%; in the first half of the year, the city's motorcycle production reached 5.7277 million units, a year-on-year increase of 49.7%, nearly 50%, compared to the accelerating growth in the first quarter.
