According to Taiwan's Business Times, the TSMC Cowos advanced packaging factory at the Jiakuo Phase 1 base started mass production in June of this year, and approximately 90 hectares of land in the Jiayi Science Park Phase 2 base held a groundbreaking ceremony on the 12th. Jiakuo Phase 2 will be led by TSMC to create an industrial cluster with "advanced packaging" at its core. It was revealed that in addition to the current promotion of the construction of Phase 2 in the Jiayi Science Park, there will be a third and fourth plant as well as future expansion and development space.
