Shanghai holds four-party symposium to discuss collaborative governance path for addressing network chaos in the automotive industry.
Recently, Shanghai has launched a special campaign to regulate the online information dissemination order in the automotive industry. In order to strengthen communication and negotiation mechanisms among multiple parties, and explore pathways for collaborative governance, on the afternoon of July 2, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Internet Information Office, together with the Municipal Commission for Economy and Informatization, the Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Municipal Public Security Bureau's Cyber Security Division, and other departments, jointly held a four-party symposium on "Government-Association-Car Enterprise-Platform." Platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Hupu, Douyin, Baidu, and other platform companies introduced their work measures to strengthen information content review in the automotive field and deal with infringement of enterprise-related information. Representatives from the Shanghai Automotive Parts Industry Association, SAIC Group, BYD, Tesla, NIO, Xiaopeng, Ideal, Lexus, and other car companies presented their opinions and suggestions on resisting industry chaos and safeguarding enterprise rights.
