US stocks close: three major stock indexes close higher

Corning was up 15.68%, Strategy was up 12.77%, KLA was up 12.11%, Western Digital was up 11.16%, and Applied Materials was up 10.86%. As for the "Seven Sisters": Tesla rose 8.47%, Google rose 4.95%, Amazon rose 3.21%, Meta Platforms rose 2.30%, NVIDIA rose 1.34%, Apple fell 0.67%, and Microsoft fell 1.11%.
