On the morning of June 15th, Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang had a phone conversation with Vietnamese Prime Minister Li Keqiang. Li Keqiang stated that in April of this year, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping held a meeting with General Secretary and President of Vietnam during their visit to China, reaching important consensus on building a higher-level strategic significance China-Vietnam community of shared future. In recent times, various departments and localities of both countries have been actively implementing the results of visits, making positive progress. China and Vietnam have a deep traditional friendship. China has always viewed Vietnam as a priority direction for its neighborhood diplomacy, and is willing to work with Vietnam to follow the strategic guidance of the top leaders of both parties and countries, strengthen unity and mutual trust, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the common development and prosperity of both countries.
