This year Amazon Prime Day will be held in June.

Amazon announced on Tuesday that Prime Day 2026 will be held from June 23 to June 26. The e-commerce giant is starting the promotional period earlier this year compared to previous years, as Prime Day traditionally begins in July. In the past, Prime Day promotions have mainly focused on luxury and non-essential goods, but in recent years consumers have been shifting their focus to essential daily necessities. Amazon revealed that fresh produce and essential home goods will be the main categories promoted during this year's big sale. This adjustment is in line with market trends, as data from the University of Michigan shows that due to economic pressures, consumer confidence in the United States fell to historic lows in May.
