The Ministry of Finance will issue RMB green sovereign bonds in Hong Kong.

Approved by the State Council, the Ministry of Finance will issue RMB green sovereign bonds in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region during the week of May 25, 2026, with a total of no more than 6 billion RMB. Specific issuance arrangements will be announced separately before the issuance.
