During the first three days of the "May Day" holiday, Beijing's municipal parks welcomed over 2 million visitors.
Reporters learned from the Beijing Park Management Center that on the third day of the May Day holiday, Beijing's public parks and the China Garden Museum received a total of 730,700 visitors, with the top three parks being Temple of Heaven Park, Summer Palace, and Beijing Zoo. According to statistics, in the first three days of the May Day holiday, the cumulative number of visitors to Beijing's public parks has exceeded 2 million. Each park has integrated various elements such as markets, intangible cultural heritage, food, and cultural creativity, rejuvenating the festival scenes and providing citizens and tourists with a holiday park experience that is delicious, fun, and educational. The Beijing Park Management Center advises that due to the large number of visitors during the holiday, it is recommended for citizens and tourists to visit the parks during off-peak hours, before 9 a.m. and after 4 p.m., for a better experience. Visitors can also follow the official public accounts of the parks to check for event announcements and ticket purchasing channels, and plan their trips in advance.
