The world's largest capacity floating offshore wind power platform is being installed in Yangjiang, Guangdong.

On April 25th, the world's largest 16-megawatt floating offshore wind power platform, "Three Gorges Pioneer", officially began installation in the waters of the Qingzhou offshore wind farm in Yangjiang, Guangdong. This marks the official start of the key node of China's first large-capacity floating offshore wind power research and demonstration project, taking a substantial step towards the large-scale development of deep-sea wind power.
