The first rail transit project crossing the Yangtze River in Shanghai has achieved full track connection.

On the morning of April 21, with the completion of the final pair of rail joints welding by the staff of China Railway Fifth Bureau at Chenjia Town Station on Chongming Island, Shanghai's first rail transit project across the Yangtze River, Line 22 of Shanghai Rail Transit, officially achieved full line rail connection, laying the foundation for the subsequent installation of electromechanical equipment, system integration and testing, and the commissioning of electric trains.
