Xiaomi Car's major appointment: Hu Zhengnan appointed as CTO, Song Gang appointed as Chief of Staff.

On April 17th, Xiaomi Group announced through an internal email that Hu Zhengnan has been appointed as the Vice President of Xiaomi Group and the CTO of the Automotive Department; Song Gang has been appointed as the Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Automotive Department of Xiaomi Group. This is the first time that Xiaomi Automotive has established the position of CTO since its establishment in 2021. It is understood that both new executives have accumulated more than twenty years of experience in the automotive industry, with experience spanning traditional car companies and new energy tracks. As of now, Xiaomi Automotive has close to ten thousand R&D personnel. With the joining of a large number of automotive industry experts with different strengths, Xiaomi Automotive is accelerating the formation of a talent system covering R&D, design, manufacturing, safety, supply chain, and other aspects of the entire chain.
