English Maritime Analysis Company: "Blockage" in the Hormuz Strait forces trade restructuring in the Gulf region.
The maritime analysis company Windward, based in the UK, released a report on the 16th stating that as navigation in the Strait of Hormuz continues to be blocked, trade in the Gulf region is being rapidly restructured through methods such as "land bridge transportation" and "destination port changes," gradually forming a new logistics network. The report mentioned that the previous direct routes to ports in the heart of the Gulf are being replaced by a network consisting of 5 key nodes, including the port of Salalah in southern Oman, the port of Sohar in northern Oman, the ports of Khor Fakkan and Fujairah on the eastern coast of the UAE, and the port of Al-Ruways on the western coast of the UAE.
