The balance sheet of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand has increased to its largest in 12 months.

According to data released on Thursday by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand on its website in Wellington, the bank's balance sheet grew to its largest size in 12 months in March. As of March 31, total assets increased from NZ$71.9 billion at the end of February to NZ$79.6 billion, the largest since March 31, 2025, when it was NZ$89 billion.
