On April 15, Yang Changli, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., and Pang Songtao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, visited Jinan to meet with Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee. Lin Wu and Yang Changli respectively introduced the development of Shandong Province and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, exchanged views on comprehensive use of nuclear energy, nuclear technology research and development, and new energy development, and expressed their intention to comprehensively deepen strategic cooperation on the basis of good cooperation. They will solidly promote the construction of relevant nuclear power projects, strengthen the layout and planning of major projects, actively explore beneficial initiatives such as nuclear energy heating and supply for vehicles, and promote the landing of more advanced nuclear energy technologies in Shandong.
