On April 15th, during the 2026 Turbo Technology Conference and Civil Aviation Engine and Gas Turbine Exhibition, at the forum "Opportunities and Challenges in the Global Gas Power Market Growth Background", Fang Yu, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Clean and Efficient Turboprop Equipment at Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., said that the current overseas demand for computing power and electricity is experiencing explosive growth. He believes that to seize this opportunity, domestically produced gas turbines still have at least a 5-year window of opportunity. This requires leveraging the strength of the entire Chinese industry chain and closely cooperating with main engine manufacturers.
