Zhejiang Province aims to strive for a total operating income of over 500 billion yuan from large-scale biopharmaceutical enterprises by 2030.

The Economic and Information Department of Zhejiang Province recently publicly solicited opinions on the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Biomedical Industry in Zhejiang Province". It aims to gather a group of innovative companies and high-end talents with core technologies by 2028, achieving breakthroughs in key common technologies and cutting-edge leading technology fields. By 2030, the research and development expenses of scale above biopharmaceutical enterprises in the province will account for about 7% of operating income, with cluster operating income exceeding 500 billion yuan, basically forming an innovative pattern of leading technology, open cooperation, and integrated development of large, medium and small enterprises.
