Henan Province will launch a pilot project for occupational injury protection for workers in new forms of employment.

On April 9th, according to the Henan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, based on the "Notice on the Pilot Work of Occupational Injury Protection for New Forms of Employment", Henan Province will start the pilot work of occupational injury protection for new forms of employment from July 1st, ensuring that each individual in new forms of employment pays for occupational injury protection. Combining the progress of the pilot work and the actual situation in Henan Province, the platforms of the transportation, instant delivery, and local freight industries will be included in the pilot range of occupational injury protection. By 2027, it will be explored to include other industries with high risks of occupational injuries and high labor intensity into the scope of occupational injury protection.
