SEMI: Equipment expenditures for 12-inch wafer fabs are expected to continue increasing over the next four years.

The International Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI) states that from 2026 to 2029, global spending on equipment for 300mm wafer fabs will continue to increase, with growth rates of 18%, 14%, 3%, and 11%, reaching $133 billion, $151 billion, $155 billion, and $172 billion respectively.
