Ministry of Commerce spokesperson, He Yadong, stated that processing trade is not only an important part of China's foreign trade, but also an important trade method linking domestic and international dual cycles. Recently, the Ministry of Commerce has organized the second batch of national processing trade industry park cultivation work, identifying 13 industry parks including 4 in central regions, 7 in western regions, and 2 in northeastern regions. This is an important measure to continue guiding the gradient shift of processing trade and promoting regional coordinated development. The Ministry of Commerce will guide local authorities to combine their actual situation, cultivate processing trade industry parks and other gradient shift receiving carriers with high quality, through strengthening the foundations of the industry, enhancing cooperative construction, improving public services, actively receiving the transfer of industries from eastern regions and overseas, and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of processing trade.
